B.2.5 Question: How many park and ride spaces (for cars and powered two wheelers) per 100,000 inhabitants, are provided in your city/region?

Comment: Park and ride systems allow car users and people on powered two wheelers to switch to rail or bus transport at the edge of the urban area.

Park and ride is commonest in large cities/regions with dense public transport networks and heavy congestion, such as the Ile de France (France) and Lisbon (Portugal).

Other cities/regions, like Stuttgart (Germany) and Graz (Austria), also make extensive use of park and ride as a way to encourage more use of alternatives to private motorised transport.
