The future of the Citizens' Network Benchmarking Initiative

During the annual conference Juan Moreno Acedo from the European Commission, DG Energy and Transport, announced the European Commission's plans on the future of the Citizens' Network Benchmarking Initiative. Though no exact timeframe has been formally set, the Commission plans to launch the next step of the project in the second half of 2002. It is foreseen to enlarge the number of participating cities and regions and widen the topics for benchmarking.
